Visitor Dress Code Guidelines

To protect safety and dignity, all visitors must follow these clothing rules or the visit may be denied.

Basic Requirements
Clothing That Is Not Allowed
  • Clothing must cover from the neck to the kneecaps.
  • All visitors, including minors, must dress appropriately or the visit may be denied.
  • All visitors must wear underwear.
  • All visitors must wear footwear (bare feet are not allowed).
  • Watches and wearable tech (like smartwatches or smart glasses) are not allowed.

The following clothing items are not allowed in the visiting area:

  • Clothing that looks like inmate clothing (other than denim).
  • Tube tops, tank tops, or halter tops unless covered by clothing that meets dress code.
  • Clothes that show the midriff, sides, or back.
  • Mini-skirts, mini-dresses, shorts, skorts, or culottes at or above the kneecap.
  • See-through clothing or anything that shows undergarments, torso, or skin above the kneecaps.
  • Tops or dresses with very low necklines or high slits at or above the kneecap.
  • Clothing with gang symbols, racist language, or offensive graphics.
  • Form-fitting items like leotards, spandex, leggings, or jeggings unless worn under code-compliant clothing.
Outerwear & Personal Items
  • Visitors may wear hats, caps, scarves, coats, jackets, rain gear, and shawls into visitation or place them in designated areas.
  • Umbrellas are not allowed inside and must be left in the vehicle.
  • Facility is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage of any personal items left in storage.
